The journey begins with purpose
Native Artisan Designs was born from a deep personal journey and a need to create my own opportunities. As a Sixties Scoop survivor and advocate, I've dedicated my life to dismantling systemic barriers and inequities. My art, jewelry, and workshops are a testament to resilience, a way to share my lived experiences, and a platform to advocate for change. When faced with adversity and misunderstanding, I learned to channel those experiences into creativity, using my voice and my art to connect, heal, and inspire.
Unique creations born from necessity and flow
What sets Native Artisan Designs apart is its origin: built from scratch, with passion and perseverance. I learned and paid close attention, creating and growing this business when I had nothing. My workshops, which I've been delivering since my early 20s, are more than just craft sessions; they are opportunities to connect with the flow, that powerful feeling of being fully immersed in creation. The inspiration comes from within, from that sacred space of genuine feeling and connection, which makes every piece and every lesson truly unique.
